PHOTO: KIM MORLEYIn keeping with my recent habits of short sporadic posting and dancehall, my friend Dan Vogt put me on to this today: I never knew the backing track to my fave jamaican sex jam had been used by Busy Signal for his equally racy 'Tightness'. It's called the Miss Independent Riddim and is, effectively, an instigator of sexy, or rather, of the downright obscene.
"Tight tuh tuh tigh-tuh tight tuh tuh tuh tight-tuh tightest vagina"
Unlike Vybz though, Busy's vocals come off somewhat heartbreaking. Yearning, missing this tight gooch of his. It's all a lot more sensual than the rampant 'Ramping Shop' and the lack of female presence makes almost for a serenade.
Excuse my crude language, but it's only befitting of the context. Contextually crass. Situationally sexy. Makes for a welcome change from the vocabulary of ethics.
